A packed calendar of events is underway, featuring a rich program of music and culture. Jesolo, the City of Christmas, is ready to welcome its visitors.
On Friday, November 28th, with the opening of the Christmas Village to the public, the initiatives organized by the municipal administration for the Christmas holidays will begin. The following day will see the new edition of the Jesolo Sand Nativity.
These are two of the six major events around which the Christmas City has developed, which also includes the Ice Nativity Scene in the historic center, the Jesolo Polar Village in Piazza Marconi, Christmas in Love in Piazza Milano, and finally the grand New Year's Eve party in Piazza Kennedy, with the now established double date of December 31st and January 1st, the latter featuring a live performance by a distinguished guest.
Completing the festive offerings is culture, through shows and concerts as well as the three exhibitions hosted at the JMuseo: “Franco Fontana – Colors, The Master of Photography”, the exhibition of “Artisanal and Artistic Nativity Scenes” and the exhibition “Memories of Jesolo. The City That Grows, the History That Remains” with a detailed diorama reproducing the old Cavazuccherina.
The calendar of events in Jesolo Christmas City:
- Christmas Village – from November 28th to January 6th, inauguration November 30th at 4:30 pm with the lighting of the Christmas tree in Piazza Mazzini and a parade along Via Silvio Trentin to Piazza Aurora.
- Jesolo Sand Nativity – November 29th to February 8th, inauguration December 1st with the interfaith conference "Peace with the Earth, Peace on Earth" (Marcato association) followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony and blessing. With the involvement of the "Aut is More" association.
- Ice Nativity Scene – from December 6th to January 11th in Piazza I Maggio.
- Jesolo Polar Village Piazza Marconi – from December 19th to January 6th. Free workshops without registration.
- Christmas in Love Piazza Milano – from December 10th to January 6th. Inauguration at 10:00 am with the unveiling of the designer nativity scenes and then on December 20th the opening of the Patuf circus.
- JMuseo – from November 29 to May 22 (inauguration November 28): "Franco Fontana – Colors, The Master of Photography"
– From November 29 to March 1: Artisanal and Artistic Nativity Scenes
– From November 29: "Memories of Jesolo" exhibition - New Year's Eve The evening of December 31st features live music, a DJ set, and a midnight fireworks display. From the afternoon of January 1st, live music with a special guest.
