Jesolo Sand Nativity and Ice Nativity Scene: Charity Recipients Selected

The famous sand nativity scene will support 12 projects. The Piazza I Maggio exhibition will also support Aut is More.

The municipal administration has identified the recipients of the funds raised through the Jesolo Sand Nativity and Ice Nativity Scene. The funds raised will be used to support humanitarian projects, local associations, and organizations that, through various initiatives, share the goal of helping the less fortunate, those in need, and those experiencing even just a difficult moment.

The funds raised by Jesolo Sand Nativity will support 12 initiatives, including the management of a reception center for 20 girls between the ages of 11 and 17 in Cochabamba, Bolivia, one of the areas most affected by human trafficking, particularly adolescents between the ages of 14 and 18, most of them girls. Thousands of disappearances related to sexual exploitation were recorded in 2023, and the city is a strategic transit point towards Peru and Brazil. In collaboration with the local diocese, the Women For Freedom association has obtained a facility on loan to offer educational, training, and psychological support, promoting a prevention and reintegration model capable of restoring dignity and opportunities for the future.

Donations from the Ice Nativity Scene will support another 9 projects. These include the activities of the Aut Is More APS association in San Donà di Piave, which expands the educational and work experiences of autistic children by involving them in catering activities, with two new placements and a placement program for the role of bartender, as well as support for the San Giuseppe parish in Cortellazzo for the purchase of essential goods for the activities of the children and young people of the patronage during 2026.
